Egirls AI Review
The clearest rules on real people we have read in this category, attached to a product that will not tell you what it costs.

// Our verdict
A platform that wrote down exactly what uncensored does and does not mean, then forgot to put a price on anything.
Buried in the marketing copy on Egirls AI's chat page, where most platforms in this category put the words "no limits" and stop, is this:
"No filter is about the refusal layer in the chat, not about anything goes. Content involving minors, real people who have not consented, and anything else illegal is prohibited, enforced, and reported. Every character on the platform is fictional and adult. That boundary is not negotiable and it is not a filter, it is the law."
We have read a lot of uncensored marketing this year. Nobody else has written that paragraph.
What is Egirls AI?
Egirls AI is an NSFW AI companion platform at egirls.ai: chat with AI characters, generate images and short video inside the conversation, voice calls, persistent memory, and a builder for making your own characters. Some of the roster is made by the platform and a growing share is published by users, credited on the card as by a handle or by Anonymous.
It is not new. The domain was registered on 31 January 2023, which makes it close to three years old and among the oldest tools left in our queue. It runs on Remix behind Cloudflare, with its API on a separate subdomain.
Policy check, and this is where it separates itself. We now read a platform's character roster before anything else, and Egirls gave that habit a workout. Among 24 characters on the homepage, 23 are plainly invented personas, each with a username, a tagline, a one-line bio, a city and a set of tags. One name, Scarlett Byrne, is also the name of a real English actress with a Wikipedia entry.
So we looked at the character rather than stopping at the name. Egirls' version is a goth bartender in Glasgow with a septum ring and the username scarlettxpoison, tagged Dominant, whose bio is about judging your music taste. The actress is London-born and known for Harry Potter and The Vampire Diaries. Nothing connects them. Set beside neighbours called Vera Kralova in Prague and Dani Herrera in Madrid, it reads as what it is: a generated roster that happened to land on a real combination of two common names. A name collision is not impersonation, and we are saying so explicitly because the opposite call, made badly, is what got a review pulled from this site two days ago.
The machinery is clean. Across eleven pages totalling well over 600 KB each, there is no image-to-image, no reference or initial image, no face swap, no identity adapter, no inpainting and no nudify. The hits that look alarming are all benign and, pleasingly, several are the opposite of a problem. The two matches for undress are a pose preset called Undressing, sitting between Towel and Workout. The three for deepfake are a report category: the interface has a reporting flow whose tags include Deepfake, alongside Child safety, Privacy violation and Copyright. The upload matches are a CSS reset, an avatar cropper, and the profile photo for your own roleplay identity.
Fair warning on scan reach, because it is narrower here than usual. Egirls renders on the server and ships a single hydration bundle of about 70 KB, so there is very little client code to inspect. What saves the exercise is that the full interface translation table arrives in the HTML, and that table describes the real UI in plain English, including features marketing never mentions.
The features that actually matter
It says what uncensored means. The paragraph at the top of this review is the product's own copy, not its terms. Setting the boundary in the marketing rather than hiding it in clause 7.1 is a choice, and a rare one.
Everything happens in one window. Chat, image generation, short video and voice calls sit in the same conversation rather than in separate tools, which is the structural difference from most of this category.
Identities, which is a genuinely unusual idea. You build a persona for yourself, with a name, age, background and photo, and play as that rather than as a blank user. The guidance that comes with it is about immersion: upload an image that represents your identity and stay in character. Free accounts get very few; Plus subscribers can, in the platform's phrase, keep building out their cast.
Characters you make can be published. Cards carry attribution, and the community guidelines that govern what you may publish are where the real-people rules live.
Pricing, without the bullshit
Here is the table, and it is embarrassing for them.
| What | Published figure |
|---|---|
| Plus subscription | Not published |
| Coins | Not published |
| Free tier | Free daily coins on signup, less for guests |
That is not us failing to look. There is no pricing route on the site that a logged-out visitor can open, and the prices render inside the product.
Two numbers do exist, and both need labelling. The platform's own affiliate landing page runs a worked example of a single referral: they buy a $50 coin pack, come back for another $25, then subscribe for $19.99, and the affiliate's cut is 60% for life. Those are illustrations in a recruitment pitch, not a tariff, though a worked example is usually built from real prices. Separately, one independent review reports Plus starting at $9.99 a month billed annually. Both can be true at once, monthly against annual, and neither is something we will put in a table as fact.
What the structure tells you is clearer than the numbers. Coins buy media, the subscription buys models, memory, call time and identity slots, and the free tier is a demo that ends when the coins do. The terms say there are no refunds or credits for partial subscription periods, and ask you to contact support before disputing a charge, with a stated 48 hour response on billing.
What users say
Thin, and we are going to be careful about it. There is one independent review we could find, and the rest of the search results are either the site's own pages or a differently-named product. No Trustpilot presence, no Reddit thread, no breach report.
So judge it on the paperwork, which is unusually complete. The terms name Bottlebrush Grove Holdings LLC, registered in Wyoming, with an address in Sheridan. Be aware that this address is one of the state's well-known registered-agent mailboxes, shared by a very large number of companies, so it identifies the legal entity without telling you where anyone actually sits. Against that, the legal shelf has everything: terms, privacy, community guidelines, a DMCA policy with a named agent and postal address, a complaint procedure, and a 2257 exemption statement. That last one matters more than it sounds. 2257 is record-keeping law for real performers. A platform with none should claim exemption, which Egirls does, rather than claim compliance, which is what we caught a competitor doing yesterday.
The prohibitions are the most explicit we have logged. Characters based on real individuals need explicit consent, and the ban is spelled out four ways: real people including celebrities, public figures and private individuals; edited, modified or AI-generated images of real people; deepfakes or realistic composites; and content that impersonates or misrepresents real people. There is a complaints category for unauthorised use of your likeness, and a Deepfake tag in the in-product report flow. Documents dated December 2025.
Final verdict: who is Egirls AI for?
Get it if you want chat, images, video and voice in one place, you like the idea of playing as a character rather than as yourself, and you care that a platform has thought hard about where the line is and written it down where you can read it.
Skip it if you refuse to hand over an email before seeing a price, which is an entirely reasonable position and the main thing keeping this score out of the eights.
Quick tip: make an account before paying anything. The free daily coins are enough to find out whether the chat and the image quality suit you, and you will need to be inside to see the prices anyway.
7.8 out of 10. On the thing this site exists to check, whether a tool puts real people in sexual scenarios, Egirls has the clearest rules, the best reporting route and the correct legal instrument of anything we have opened in weeks. It loses most of its remaining points for making you sign up to learn what it charges.
// FAQ
Egirls AI: quick answers
Is Egirls AI free?
There is a real free tier, but treat it as a demo. Creating an account gives you free daily coins, and guests get less than that. Coins are what media costs, so when they run out the prompts to subscribe begin. The features gated behind the Plus subscription include premium models, memories, voice call time and the ability to keep more than a couple of your own roleplay identities.
How much does Egirls AI cost?
The site does not publish a price list anywhere we could reach while logged out, which is our main complaint about it. Two figures exist and we are labelling both honestly: the platform's own affiliate page uses a worked example of a referral who subscribes for $19.99 and buys coin packs of $25 and $50, and one independent review reports Plus starting at $9.99 a month billed annually. Those are an illustration and a single third-party reading, not a published tariff.
Is Egirls AI safe and legit?
On the question this site cares most about, it is the strongest we have read. Characters based on real individuals are prohibited in four separate clauses covering celebrities, public figures and private persons, and the ban extends explicitly to edited or AI-generated images of real people and to deepfakes or realistic composites. There is a 2257 exemption statement, which is the correct instrument for a platform with no real performers, a named DMCA agent with a postal address, and a complaints route for unauthorised use of your likeness. The operator is Bottlebrush Grove Holdings LLC, registered in Wyoming, and the domain has been live since January 2023.
Can you upload photos of real people to Egirls AI?
The upload that exists is for your own profile and for what the site calls identities, the roleplay personas you play as, and the terms forbid using it for real people without consent. More to the point, we found no mechanism that would let an uploaded picture steer image generation: no image-to-image, no reference image, no identity adapter, no face swap and no inpainting anywhere we could reach. Pictures in chat are generated in the character's own likeness, consistent with their profile.
