Flirti Review
A named Cyprus company with one of the strongest deepfake policies we have read, wrapped around one of the more manipulative paywalls.

// Our verdict
The legal file is better than almost anything else in this category and the operator is genuinely identified. The monetisation is designed to make you lose count. Both things are true, so read the checkout screen carefully and then enjoy it.
We have spent this month reviewing platforms with no terms of service at all. Soulmate IO: every legal page a 404. Naughti AI: the same. PornHaven: one app shell served at every URL, policies included. So it is worth saying plainly what Flirti does differently, because it is the opposite extreme.
Flirti publishes a Terms of Service with a section headed "Prohibition on Real-Person Depictions". It names the company behind the product, gives its Cyprus registration number and its street address. It runs a dedicated email channel for likeness abuse reports with a stated 24 hour review target. Its refund policy promises an email reminder seven days before every renewal.
And then it sells you intimacy in tokens, on a ladder, with the price quoted per day.
What is Flirti?
Flirti is an AI companion platform at flirti.ai, operated by Alperen LTD of Paphos, Cyprus. You browse or build characters, chat with them in either a realistic or a roleplay mode, and generate images, voice messages and calls as the relationship deepens. There is a mobile app alongside the website, and the refund policy references both Apple and Google purchase flows.
Two things distinguish the product from the standard girlfriend-app template. The first is a swipe interface called Match, which frames discovery as a dating app rather than a character catalogue. The second is AstroSync, a trademarked feature that assigns your companion a birth date, time and place and shapes its personality on the corresponding zodiac sign. Whether astrology makes for better conversation is not something we can test, but it is at least a distinctive answer to a question every platform in this category asks.
There is one naming problem you should know about before you research this yourself. Search for Flirti and you will mostly find Flirton AI, Flirt AI Chat and a dozen similarly named apps. There is also a flirti-ai.com that reads like a doorway page and points back at flirti.ai as the official site. The domain you want is flirti.ai.
Policy check. This is where Flirti separates itself. Its 2257 compliance section states that it "strictly prohibits any user-uploaded visual depictions of actual human beings engaged in sexually explicit conduct", and that users who upload, share or request depictions of real individuals "including themselves or others" in sexual or nude contexts "will be immediately and permanently banned" and reported to law enforcement. Note the phrase including themselves: that is stricter than LusyChat AI, which permits self-depiction under penalty of perjury. A separate conduct clause bans using any Flirti feature to create deepfakes or impersonate a real person, and another bans submitting recordings of real people, celebrities named explicitly, without consent. Likeness abuse reports go to a dedicated address, and sexual deepfakes of identifiable people sit in the top priority tier with a 24 hour review target.
An avatar uploader does exist, for your profile picture and for character art. On a platform that accepted uploads into an image editor, that would end this review. Here the uploader feeds a profile field, and the policy around it is the most explicit we have quoted this month.
The features that actually matter
The Trust Level ladder. Your relationship with a character progresses through six named stages: Curious, Flirty, Spicy, Wild, Sensual and Insatiable. Explicit content unlocks at Spicy. You gain XP by messaging and by sending gifts. What we did not expect is that trust also falls, and the app names the reasons in its own interface: being pushy, dismissing feelings, forgetting things, ignoring boundaries. A companion app that penalises ignoring boundaries is doing something more interesting than the category norm.
The catch arrives immediately. Several levels are locked behind Premium, and the interface literally counts them for you ("2 levels locked behind Premium"). So the mechanic that rewards patience is also the mechanic that sells subscriptions, and you should recognise the shape of that before you get invested.
Image and voice generation. Both are Premium features. The paid tier advertises unlimited free images in chat, voice messages from characters, and voice calls where the companion hears you too. On the free tier, image generation is simply off.
Match and the social layer. A swipe feed for discovery, plus public profiles with followers and character libraries, which pushes Flirti closer to a social app than a private chat window. Free accounts get a daily deposit of swipes.
Pricing, without the bullshit
We can give you one number with confidence and we have to be honest about the rest.
| What | Price | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Free account | $0 | 100 tokens on signup, daily message and swipe allowances |
| Premium, monthly | $9.99/mo | Hardcoded into every upgrade prompt on the site |
| Premium, other terms | Not published | Daily, weekly, quarterly, biannual and yearly terms all exist |
| Token packs | Not published | Sold separately from the subscription |
That $9.99 is a good headline price. Everything around it deserves caution.
The billing component supports a daily and a weekly period alongside the monthly one. Kupid AI's entire reputation problem, a 2.4 out of 5 on Trustpilot built almost entirely on billing complaints, comes from a weekly charge that readers assumed was monthly. Flirti's checkout also advertises the deal as a per-day figure ("Unlock her now, X per day"), which is the oldest anchoring trick in subscription design: a smaller number attached to a longer commitment. None of this is hidden or dishonest. It does mean the single most important thing on that screen is the billing period, not the price.
Then there is the second currency. Premium gets you tokens, and tokens buy photos, videos and voice messages. One-time token packs are sold to people who do not want a subscription at all. We have written the same paragraph about Candy AI, OurDream, JuicyChat and Soulmate IO, and it applies here: your subscription is not the price of using the product, it is the price of an allowance.
Credit where it is due, though, because the refund policy is one of the better ones in this category. Flirti commits to emailing you at least seven days before any renewal, with the amount and the date. It honours the EU and UK 14 day withdrawal right, with the standard digital-content caveat that you waive it once you start using the service. Annual plans can be refunded pro rata on request, above a $5 minimum. Cancellations are processed within 24 hours. That is a company writing down commitments it can be held to, which is exactly the opposite of the platforms with no terms at all.
One clause to read with your eyes open: the content licence you grant is perpetual, irrevocable, sublicensable and commercial. That is boilerplate across this whole industry, and it is still worth knowing that the characters you build are not only yours.
What users say
Nothing, and we have to be straight about it.
We could find no Trustpilot profile, no meaningful Reddit thread, and no independent review of this specific platform. The name confusion makes it worse: searches surface Flirton AI and Flirt AI Chat instead, and much of what does appear about "flirting AI apps" is auto-generated listicle content that we do not treat as a source.
So there is no track record here in either direction. No breach, no scam allegation, no billing scandal, and equally no evidence of a satisfied user base. What Flirti offers instead of reputation is documentation: a named company, a registry number you can look up, a published address, and policies specific enough to be tested against. That is a different kind of assurance and, for a platform this young, arguably a more useful one. It is not the same as a track record.
Final verdict: who is Flirti for?
Get Flirti if: you want a companion app that has actually written down what it will not do, and you value knowing who you are paying. The free tier costs nothing and 100 tokens is enough to judge the writing. At $9.99 monthly, the entry price is fair for what is included.
Skip it if: token economies exhaust you, in which case Angel.ai's flat unlimited pricing is the direct answer, or you want a platform other people have already stress-tested. Candy AI and CraveU AI have visible user bases; Flirti does not.
The formula we would pick: the free account first, spent entirely on judging whether the conversation is worth paying for. Then, if it is, one month at $9.99, bought with your eyes on the billing-period selector rather than the price. Never the daily or weekly option, whatever discount is dangled beside it.
Rating: 7.4/10. The best-documented platform we have reviewed this month, sold through the pushiest checkout.
// FAQ
Flirti: quick answers
How much does Flirti cost?
The one price hardcoded into the site is Premium at $9.99 a month, which appears on every upgrade prompt. Beyond that we cannot help you as much as we would like: the billing component supports daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, biannual and yearly terms, and all of those prices load dynamically after you are logged in. There is also a separate one-time token pack shop. Read the checkout screen, and in particular read which billing period is selected before you confirm.
Is Flirti free?
There is a genuine free tier. Creating an account gets you 100 free tokens with no card required, plus a daily allowance of messages, dialogs and swipes that resets on a timer. What the free tier does not get you is the explicit half of the product: the relationship ladder stops early, image generation and voice calls are Premium features, and the app tells you how many hours until your messages reset.
Does Flirti allow deepfakes or photo uploads of real people?
No, and it says so more forcefully than most platforms we review. Its Terms carry a section titled Prohibition on Real-Person Depictions, and its 2257 clause states that users who upload, share or request depictions of real individuals, explicitly including themselves, in sexual or nude contexts will be permanently banned and reported to law enforcement. A separate clause bans using any Flirti feature to create deepfakes or impersonate a real person. There is an avatar uploader for your own profile and for character art, which is the ordinary kind, but the policy around it is unusually explicit.
Who runs Flirti?
Alperen LTD, a Cyprus company with registration number HE 454844 and a published address in Paphos. That is more than most platforms in this category will tell you, and it means there is an entity you could actually pursue. Disputes are governed by Cypriot law unless you are an EU consumer, in which case your own country's law applies.
What are Trust Levels?
Flirti's progression system. Your relationship with a character moves through six named levels, Curious, Flirty, Spicy, Wild, Sensual and Insatiable, earned with XP from messages and gifts. Explicit content unlocks at Spicy. Trust can also go down, and the app names the ways: being pushy, dismissing feelings, ignoring boundaries. That is a genuinely interesting design idea sitting inside a paywall, because several of those levels are Premium-only.
