SecretCrush.ai Review

We spent longer on this review than usual, and not because the product is complicated. We spent it because a third-party review made a claim that, if true, would have ended the review at paragraph two.

The claim: that you can upload a reference photo to SecretCrush and it will build a companion from that image, generating matching visuals for chat, voice and video. That is the exact mechanism that got MuseBix AI, Lovescape and Eternal AI removed from this site. So we went and checked, properly.

It is not true. We will come back to how we know.

What is SecretCrush.ai?

SecretCrush.ai is an NSFW AI companion platform: a catalogue of characters organised across 93 tags, a character creator, and generation of images and video alongside chat. The tag list is unusually granular for this category, covering anime archetypes (tsundere, kuudere, dandere, yandere all present as separate tags), fantasy and non-human categories, and a substantial kink range.

Before anything else, the domain. secretcrush.ai is the product. secretcrush.io returns a 404, secretcrush.app is an unrelated app, and secretcrushai.com is a generated placeholder page selling "friendship" in vague terms.

That last one deserves a note that applies well beyond this review. We found the identical page, byte for byte in structure and served from the same template path, sitting on nemoraai.com when we reviewed Nemora yesterday. Somebody is parking the .com variants of .ai companion brands and filling them with generated copy. If you type the .com out of habit for any of these platforms, you are not on the product. Check the extension.

The operator is named plainly in the site's own footer: Generative Flows AI Sarl (GFAI), CHE-399.336.060, Chemin de Prael 7F, 1030 Bussigny, Switzerland, with the terms governed by Swiss law and disputes heard in Swiss courts. That CHE number is a Swiss commercial register identifier, which means it is checkable by anyone. This is the third named operator we have covered in a week, after two Cypriot companies, and the first Swiss one. In a category where the default is a shell with no address, that trend is worth noticing.

The policy question, answered properly

Here is how we resolved the upload claim, because the method matters more than the conclusion.

Scanning the visible pages was not enough: SecretCrush renders most of its interface client-side, so the character creator and image generator arrive as near-empty shells. So we pulled the platform's JavaScript bundles and enumerated every API endpoint they call. The full list is short and unambiguous. Characters, chats, images, videos, search, favourites, feedback, age verification, payment gateways, subscriptions, referral and UTM tracking.

Exactly one endpoint accepts a file: POST /api/v1/users/me/profile-picture, a multipart upload that sets your own account avatar. Nothing else in the product takes an image. There is no init_image, no reference image, no source image parameter, no inpainting, no image-to-image and no face swap anywhere in the code.

So the platform passes, on the same structural grounds as Nemora and Mistrezz: not because it promises not to, but because there is no pipe for a photograph to travel down.

The written rules back it up, with one asymmetry worth flagging. Its community guidelines state categorically, at 9.2, that "AI companions are not real people and do not represent actual individuals". Good, and unconditional. But at 2.4 the prohibition is on creating content featuring real individuals "without consent", which is the conditional formulation we criticised on SpicyMate. Flirti and Crushi ban it outright. SecretCrush leaves a door that its own architecture happens to keep shut.

On moderation, the guidelines describe automated systems and AI-powered detection running in real time, during both generation and conversation, and openly admit the filters "err on the side of caution" and may throw false positives. We would rather read that than a promise of perfection.

The features that actually matter

The tag system. 93 tags is more taxonomy than most competitors offer, and it is the practical difference here: finding a specific archetype takes one click instead of scrolling a feed. Absent from the list, and we checked: any celebrity, lookalike or real-person category.

Image and video generation. Both present, both wired to their own endpoints and their own feedback routes, which suggests active quality tuning rather than a bolted-on feature.

Crypto payments. Coinpayments sits alongside Finby and Stripe. For a category where discretion is a genuine feature, paying without a card is worth something.

Pricing, without the bullshit

This is the section where we have nothing for you, and we would rather say that than invent it.

No price is readable on SecretCrush.ai from outside. The pricing page is an application shell, and the plan data lives behind endpoints that need an account. What we can confirm from the payment code is that the platform sells subscriptions, coin packs and chat packages, which means a second currency sits on top of any subscription, as it does nearly everywhere in this category.

Third-party sites quote roughly $12 and $25 a month with a pay-as-you-go option. We are not repeating those as facts. They come from the same generated-content farms that also told readers this platform has a photo-upload companion builder, and that claim is demonstrably false. A source that wrong about a feature does not get to be authoritative about a price.

What we can tell you, because the platform states it in its own terms, is what happens after you pay. Section 5.3: all payments are final and non-refundable. No trial window, no money-back guarantee, no stated exception. You can cancel and keep access until the term expires, and that is the entirety of your protection.

Put that next to what we have found elsewhere this month. Nemora advertises a 30 day money-back guarantee. Flirti promises an email reminder seven days before every renewal and explicitly honours EU and UK withdrawal rights. SecretCrush offers none of that and does not acknowledge those statutory rights at all, which for European readers is a gap between what the page says and what the law says. Whatever the first payment is, treat it as spent.

What users say

Nothing verifiable. No Trustpilot profile, no meaningful Reddit or forum discussion. The pages that rank for the brand are affiliate and generated-review sites, and we have now demonstrated that at least one of them describes a feature that does not exist.

So there is no track record here: no breach, no scam allegations, no billing complaints, and no evidence of a happy user base either. What stands in its place is a Swiss registration number you can verify yourself and a codebase that does what the policy says. That is a narrower assurance than a review history, but it is a real one.

Final verdict: who is SecretCrush.ai for?

Get SecretCrush if: you want a deep tag taxonomy to browse, you value an operator with a checkable company number, and you are comfortable paying a platform whose terms rule out refunds entirely. Start on the free side and see the prices in your own account before committing.

Skip it if: you want to compare prices before signing up, which you cannot do here, or you want the option of getting your money back. Nemora at a stated $47.88 a year with a 30 day guarantee is the direct answer to both.

The formula we would pick: create the free account purely to read the pricing screen, then decide. Never buy a long term here, because a non-refundable annual plan is the one purchase this policy makes genuinely expensive to regret.
