Every companion app in this category promises immersion and then hands you a partner who cannot say no. Nemora built the opposite, and it published the scripts.

Read the system prompts embedded in its own pages and you find scenarios with explicit failure conditions. From the one where you are trying to talk your way into a second date: if the user tries to kiss you, undress you, or drag you to the bedroom immediately upon walking through the front door without hosting or talking, "ruthlessly reject them". From another: rushing to physical moves while she is still angry means she pulls away, and groveling until she gives in out of pity does not count as winning either.

What is Nemora.ai?

Nemora.ai is an AI companion platform that treats roleplay as a game rather than a chat. Alongside the usual character catalogue, character creator and image generation, it ships premade scenarios with starting scores, difficulty ratings, levels and defined win and lose states. Get trapped in an elevator with a woman who is not interested. Survive a job interview with a hostile HR manager. Arrive late to a date with someone already annoyed. Each one has a script telling the model exactly what counts as success and what ends the scene.

First, the name problem, because it is unusually bad here. Four live products share it. nemora.ai is this one. nemora-ai.com is a different platform selling "personality evolution" for AI characters. nemoraai.com sells AI friendship. And nemora.app is a Bible journal that turns your writing into a personalised devotional. We have reviewed a lot of confusing brand collisions on this site. This is the first time one of the decoys was scripture.

The operator is named in the platform's own configuration: G.A CONTEXT AI SOLUTIONS LTD, at Kallipoleos 48, Loucas Court, Nicosia, Cyprus, with disputes governed by Cypriot law. That makes it the second identified Cyprus operator we have covered this week, after Alperen LTD behind Flirti and Crushi. Different company, same jurisdiction.

Policy check, and Nemora passes on the strongest grounds available. There is no upload path in the product at all. We scanned the character creator, the image generator and the creative studio for file inputs, drop zones and image-accepting fields, and found none. That is the Mistrezz AI argument: when nothing can be uploaded, a deepfake is not prevented by a policy, it is prevented by the absence of a mechanism.

The written policy backs it up rather than substituting for it. Nemora's terms disclose an actual moderation stack, which almost nobody in this category does: OpenAI moderation plus a proprietary model, supported by human review of flagged content, applied to requests before generation runs. Named blocked categories include underage content, non-consensual content, deepfake and impersonation attempts. Its separate blocked content policy prohibits "creating AI Companions that impersonate real individuals without authorization".

One thing we found and will state plainly rather than bury: the platform's shared code contains an interface string for chatting with an AI based on a real person, gated to non-explicit content. Nemora's own feature manifest, which enumerates every capability enabled for this site, does not include it. Our reading is that Nemora runs on a multi-tenant codebase where that capability belongs to a different tenant. We could not make it appear anywhere in the product, and the exclusion policy turns on what a platform actually offers, so it passes. If that ever ships here, this review changes.

The features that actually matter

Games with fail states. The headline, and genuinely novel. Scenarios carry a difficulty label, a starting score and gameOver conditions. Undoing a game over costs 50 coins, which tells you the failures are real enough to sell insurance against. In a category where the standard complaint is that the companion agrees with everything, an AI that can end the scene because you were pushy is a different proposition.

A published coin economy. Nemora's code prices every operation, and we have put those numbers in the FAQ above. Kuro AI is the only other platform we have reviewed that publishes what its currency buys. It matters, because "1,000 coins" means nothing until you know an image costs 25 of them.

Image, video and audio generation. All present, all metered. Video at 100 coins and HD video at 300 makes moving pictures the expensive habit here, exactly as it is at OurDream.

Group chat, a creative studio and a gallery. Alongside a referral programme that pays 1,000 coins to both sides, which is a more honest incentive than most affiliate schemes because it rewards the person being referred too.

Pricing, without the bullshit

Coin packs are sold separately: $9.99 for 1,000, $19.99 for 2,000, $49.99 for 7,500 and $99.99 for 20,000.

Those figures come from the site's own product catalogue rather than from a marketing page, which is why we can give you the three-month tier that nobody advertises. At $3.99 a month effective, annual Premium sits alongside Angel.ai's $3.33 as one of the cheapest doors in this category.

Now the part to distrust. Every plan carries a "retail" price against it, and the annual one lists at $239.88 while selling at $47.88. That is a permanent 80 percent discount, which is another way of saying it is not a discount. Ignore the crossed-out number entirely; the price is the price.

Two further things worth your attention. Deluxe costs five times Standard on the annual plan, and nothing we could read explains what the extra buys beyond a larger coin allowance. Do not take that tier without seeing the comparison in your account. And the games carry individual coin prices on top of your subscription, so the product's best feature is also a separate line item.

Credit where due: billing is through Stripe, the platform advertises a 30 day money-back guarantee, and its own interface promises no adult transaction will appear on your bank statement. That combination is better than most of this category manages.

What users say

Nothing we would repeat.

There is no Trustpilot profile, no Reddit thread, and the handful of "reviews" that rank for the name sit on affiliate sites. One of them describes Nemora as a hand-drawn anime platform built for the manga community, which does not match the product we looked at. That is the signature of generated review content, and we are not going to launder it into a figure.

Nemora.ai membership keys are also sold on G2A, the same distribution channel we noted for Sexy.AI and CreatePorn's upper tiers. It cuts the same way it always does: useful if you want to pay without handing over a card, unhelpful if you want one authoritative price.

So no track record, in either direction. No breach, no scam allegations, no billing complaints, and no evidence of a large satisfied user base either. What Nemora offers instead is unusual transparency about its own machinery, and for once that is not a consolation prize.

Final verdict: who is Nemora.ai for?

Get Nemora if: you are bored of companions who never resist, and the idea of a scenario you can fail sounds like fun rather than frustration. At $47.88 for a year the downside is small, and the coin table means you can actually budget.

Skip it if: you want unlimited images without arithmetic, in which case a flat-rate platform like Angel.ai serves you better, or you want a product other people have already stress-tested.

The formula we would pick: free account first to read the writing, then one month of Premium at $12.99 with a single coin pack, and only then the annual plan. Never Deluxe until someone shows you what it adds.
