Xotic AI publishes an accessibility statement. We have reviewed close to forty platforms in this category and not one of the others has bothered.

It also publishes a dedicated sex trafficking policy, a standalone content moderation policy with an actual escalation chain, a safety center, an underage policy and eight more documents besides. Thirteen in total, linked from the footer rather than buried at URLs nobody can guess.

Then you reach section 7 of the terms, headed NO REFUND POLICY, and learn that if you buy the annual plan and dislike it on day two, that money is gone.

What is Xotic AI?

Xotic AI is an AI companion platform with an unusually broad feature spread: chat with named language models, image generation, video generation, voice calling, text to speech and speech to text, a community feed you can post characters to, and a scenario mode called Worlds.

Worlds is the part worth singling out. Rather than handing you a character and a blank chat box, it offers written settings you step into: The Demon Queen's Castle, Academy of Arcana, Office Hours, The Roommate Situation, The Resort. That is closer to interactive fiction than to a companion app, and it is why this review carries the AI sex games category alongside the companion ones.

The other distinctive touch is that Xotic names its models. Ivy sits on the entry tier, Selene and Zara unlock higher up, Scarlet is reserved for the top. Most platforms in this category refer to "our advanced AI" and leave it there. Naming them, and gating them explicitly, at least lets you know what you are and are not buying. One third-party reviewer makes the sharp version of this point: the platform markets Selene heavily, and entry-tier subscribers only get Ivy.

The domain is www.xotic.ai. xoticai.com is a parked page that bounces to a lander, the same pattern we have now documented on the .com variants of Nemora, SecretCrush, Shpritz and SpicyCam.

The operator is Xotic Tech OÜ, with the terms governed by Estonian law and Estonian courts named for disputes. After six consecutive Cypriot companies in these reviews, Estonia is a change of scenery.

The policy question

Xotic passes, with one caveat we will state rather than bury.

There is no upload path we could find. Across 1.8 MB of its JavaScript there is no file input, no image-accepting field, and none of the generation-conditioning machinery that gets platforms removed from this site: no image-to-image, no inpainting, no identity adapter, no face swap. The only upload language anywhere on the site concerns your own account avatar, where the interface distinguishes between a custom uploaded avatar, a randomly generated one and one derived from your email.

The caveat: the bundle leaks a database schema, and the generated-video table carries a referenceImageUrl column. On the evidence that is image-to-video working from pictures you already generated, which is exactly what the top tier advertises, and it sits in the same schema block as generated images with their own platform storage keys. But we could not trace the code that populates it, so we are telling you it exists rather than pretending the sweep was airtight. If a visible uploader ever appears here, that is the field to check.

The written rules are strong on structure and average on one specific clause. The prohibited content policy bans zoophilia, necrophilia, incest, cannibalism, non-consensual sexual activity, sex trafficking and exploitation of vulnerable people, and adds categories almost nobody else lists: political campaigning, religious indoctrination, financial or medical advice presented as authoritative, and instructing others on how to bypass moderation. Its clause on real people reads "AI-generated depictions of real people, including celebrities, without consent", which is the conditional formulation we have criticised at SpicyMate, FLIRTcam and Cherrypop. It names the right target and leaves the same door ajar.

The 2257 exemption is unambiguous: no real individuals depicted, no human performers involved, fictional and simulated content only.

What lifts Xotic above the average here is the content moderation policy, which is a separate document rather than a paragraph. It describes automated filters applied to prompts and outputs, real-time intervention when disallowed content is attempted, and an escalation chain spelled out in stages: detection, then automated review plus possible human verification, then action ranging from warning to termination, then recordkeeping for accountability. It also states plainly that conversations stay confidential unless legally compelled or flagged for compliance review. That is a company describing a process it can be held to.

Pricing, without the bullshit

This is the worst pricing picture we have had to write up since Soulmate IO, and for the same reason: the sources contradict each other and one of them is the platform itself.

Inside the site's own code, the tier descriptions read: Premium, unlimited character creation and image generation, 500 XOT monthly. Pro, everything in Premium plus community feed, voice calling, speech tools, two more models and priority access, 1,000 XOT monthly. Ultimate, video generation, one more model, all image models, community posting.

The only actual price string anywhere in that code is attached to Ultimate and reads $$9.99/Month, with a doubled dollar sign. A malformed template variable, in other words, and it would make the top tier cheaper than anything below it.

A detailed third-party review describes something else entirely: Basic at $7.49, Pro at around $15, Ultimate at around $30, annual billing cutting up to 72% with Ultimate landing at $149.99 a year, and token grants of 1,000 monthly, 3,000 quarterly and 12,000 annually. Different tier names, different token numbers.

We are not picking a winner. What we will say is that a platform this diligent about publishing thirteen policies has left its pricing in a state where its own code cannot be trusted, and that is a strange place to cut corners.

Two things are consistent across every source and worth acting on. XOT tokens meter the expensive features, voice and video especially, on top of whatever the subscription costs, which is the same two-tier structure we describe most weeks. And the free tier is genuinely usable by this category's standards: a daily credit drip that reportedly banks up if you log in without spending, which is more generous than Kupid AI's fifteen messages total.

Then the clause. All subscription fees, token purchases and other payments are final and non-refundable, and the terms say so explicitly for monthly, quarterly and annual plans alike. Cancellation is free, takes effect at the end of the period, and carries no fee, which is all fine. But there is no trial window, no money-back guarantee, and no acknowledgement anywhere of the withdrawal rights that EU and UK consumers hold, from a company registered inside the EU. SecretCrush takes the same position and we marked it down for it. So does this.

What users say

Nothing we can use.

There is no Trustpilot profile. The pages ranking for the brand are AI directories and affiliate reviews, and the platform embeds badges from two of those directories on its own homepage, which tells you where its traffic comes from. The most detailed write-up we found is useful on features and we have quoted its pricing only as a contradiction, not as a fact.

No breach, no scam allegations, no billing complaints on record. Also no evidence of a user base. The usual silence.

Final verdict: who is Xotic AI for?

Get Xotic if: the Worlds scenarios appeal to you, you want named models rather than a black box, and a deep policy shelf matters. The free tier costs nothing and the daily credits let you test properly before paying.

Skip it if: you are considering an annual plan, because non-refundable means exactly that here and no source agrees on what it costs. Nemora publishes every figure and offers thirty days back.

The formula we would pick: the free tier for as long as the daily credits last, then one month at whatever the checkout actually says, never a year. Whatever price you see on that screen is the only one anybody can vouch for.
